North Motorsport, the Cheshire based race team, has unveiled its new billet alloy Sports
Prototype uprights at Motorsport Days Live. Developed to fit a range of cars, including
most variants of Radical SR3, the uprights have been engineered from a blank sheet
providing a lightweight, durable solution for high down-force cars.
Sam North, Team Principal at North Motorsport, commented: “We saw a gap in the
market to provide a high quality, durable product to serve the needs of the growing race
community. We partnered with Prescient Engineering to design our uprights using
aerospace grade materials. They have undergone rigorous stress analysis and track
testing and we can be sure the product will provide high performance, reliable service.”
Provision has also been included for rapid camber adjustment using a graduated shim
system to allow fast adjustment without the need to re-align between setup changes.
Uprights are supplied ready to fit, including NAS fixings, wheel bearing, stub shaft and
camber shim kit.
As winners of the 2021 750 Motorclub Bikesport Championship, North Motorsport have
ambitious plans for the 2022 season. They have two works Radical SR3 rs’ available for
arrive and drive hire for race and trackday hire.
North Motorsport will be displaying the uprights in Garage 36.
